Speaker Rivas prioritized climate initiatives by passing the historic $10 billion bond through the House, which 60% of voters approved. Under his guidance, the Assembly prioritized legislation to advance the transition from fossil fuels to clean energy, promote electrification, reduce harmful emissions and pollution, and ensure vulnerable communities are supported through these transitions.
